Cosmic Elements welcome Tom Conrad & Andre Bonsor back to the label with ‘Midnight Signs EP’, which consists of three completely different tracks in the form of nu-disco, deep house and lounge/chillout.

The EP opens with ‘Wollaton Nights’ (pronounced ‘wool-a-ton’) which is an ode to the name of the studio where it was made and also the area where Tom lived at the time. It’s a very deep, atmospheric track laden with infectious jazzy melodies and one for the discerning listener. Next up is a driving deep house track entitled ‘Cassiopeia’, aptly named for its atmospheric space like groove. Completing the EP is the lush downtempo sounds of ‘Desiderate’, a smooth laidback groove with warm chords, funky bass, broken beats and overall chilled vibe.

Tom Conrad & Andre Bonsor have released music on Adaptation Music, Cosmic’s parent label and have featured on Seasons Recordings, Bonzai Music, Unknown Season and more.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad delivers his latest two tracker entitled ‘Dawn Rising EP’ which once again shows his versatility and ability to avoid being predictable or typecast when producing house music. It follows on from his previous project on the label, ‘Variations EP’.

The EP kicks off with the funky jackin house sounds of ‘Shadow Lady’ complete with captivating chords, guitar riff and bassline which you can’t help but move to. Its shifting balance of uplifting and serious tones throughout work well together and are guaranteed to work any discerning dancefloor. The second track on the EP, ‘Chasing The Light’ has a crossover sound for both deep house and jackin house DJs alike and evokes thoughts of the sun rising after a long night spent with fellow revellers within the surrounds of serious house music.

This release is yet another strong EP from Tom Conrad on Adaptation Music in 2018 so watch this space as Tom continues to show his consistency and progression within the realms of deep and jackin underground house music.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad’s latest EP showcases his versatility with the aptly titled ‘Variations EP’ following on from his recent ‘Summer Of 92 EP’ and release on U.S imprint King Street Sounds.

First on the EP is ‘Night Turn Ahead’, a deep late night groove which is guaranteed to be a surefire hit with deep house fans and DJs alike due to its old school New York feel with infectious chords, tight percussion and neat synth work. On a totally different tip is the by no means ‘just a B side’ Balearic tinged track ‘When Love Was Real’ which combines garage style beats with soulful chords, old school synth sounds and an overall very catchy vibe. Is it Jackin House or Soulful House? You decide.

Adaptation Music’s Tom Conrad releases another fine EP of old school influenced house music on the label, in the form of ‘Summer Of 92 EP’ following on from his recent ‘Affinity EP’ and a release on reputable big name U.S imprint King Street Sounds.

First on the EP is ‘Deeper High’ with its infectious old school chords, Chicago style bass, funky marimba, soft horn sounds and atmospheric pads. Very Balearic and retro with a modern twist would be one way to describe the overall feel. The ‘B’ side to the EP ‘Look Back And Turn Around’ complements the other side well, with classic old school chords, funky New York style bassline and a sun soaked infectious groove.
