Adaptation Music welcome back Caliorange with their third EP on the label, this one another fantastic deep house affair entitled ‘Secrets EP’.

Opening the EP is ‘Lunar Vortex’, which is a very deep, atmospheric and hypnotic journey, laden with old school Detroit chords, stabs and spacey vocals. One for the true deep house heads and fans of the early 90s vibe. The ‘B side’ is a deep, driving and funky, bass heavy track entitled ‘Talk Kink’ which does what it says in the title with it’s x-rated vocal, whilst also being a deliberate pun.

Adaptation Music’s 136th release is a jazzy, soulful house affair with hints of latin from Tom Conrad, entitled ‘Belleza Ùnica’.

Originally set out to be an instrumental for a world renowned vocalist at their request, ‘Belleza Ùnica’ took a different turn prior to getting that far and instead became a full on soulful, jazzy, piano infused affair, with flavours of the 90s New York house scene alongside some Latin American influences.

Tom continues to release music under several aliases, this being a rare exception to the rule seeing as the track has personal ties. Despite maintaining several busy aliases, there are a few more forthcoming gems to look out for under Tom’s name in 2023.

Adaptation Music welcomes back talented Dutch DJ and producer El Funkador alongside U.S vocalist Lee Wilson for his third release on the label following on from the brilliant ‘Jazzy Conditions’ and ‘Embracement’.

Opening the release is a a superb peak time main room track with solid beats, a catchy full vocal, infectious stabs and a funky bassline all of which combined is a track which is sure to have mainstream appeal.

Next up is a jazzy soulful rework by Tom Conrad packed with lush chords, jazzy rhodes keys, live bass, funky guitar and hypnotic use of Lee’s catchy vocal.

Rotterdam based El Funkador has been releasing music for the last decade on labels such as Purveyor Underground, Fogbank, Mood Funk and Juiced Music to name but a few. Ranked as #4 top vocalist on Traxsource in 2021, East Coast based Lee Wilson is no stranger to the scene having worked with some of the biggest international producers and labels.

Adaptation’s 121st release is a deep, smooth and funky soulful house track from Tom Conrad entitled ‘Soul Protocol’.

The aptly named ‘Soul Protocol’ is Tom’s second soulful release of 2022 which is an ode to the late 70s and early 80s soul sound with smooth chords and keys, sublime rhodes piano, funky bass line and two distinct vocal messages within the track. This release follows on from the popular ‘Love Satisfaction’ which was a top #20 track on U.S download site Traxsource.

This is Tom’s 7th release so far in 2022 following on from releases on HIVE Label, Ginkgo Music, TOSNC and Adaptation Music with many more on the way under his various aliases which include both Thylacinus and Caliorange, with his first ever vinyl album due for summer release.
