The latest compilation on Adaptation Music is compiled and mixed by Tom Conrad and showcases a selection of some of the finest deep house cuts on the label. Music featured on the release comes from Julian Sanza (Silver City), Demarkus Lewis, DJ Bee, The Messenger, Mr V, Joshua Collins, David Moran, Askin Dedeoglu and more.

Tom returns to his deep house roots with two sublime tracks perfect for the dancefloor. The title track ‘Substance’ encapsulates the old school Chicago sound with its chord stabs and strings combined with a massive funky bass line. The ‘B’ side ‘Introspective’ is also a bouncy yet driving dancefloor affair complete with jackin beats and huge main room chords. Early DJ support from Sebb Junior, Jask, Hamza, Dave Mayer, Arturo Garces, Vinny Da Vinci and more.

Tom has been releasing a variety of tracks over the last 8 years under his own name and also alongside studio partner Andre Bonsor inbetween running his two labels but is more at home in the deeper/tech side of house music after previously releasing a number of vocal projects. Tom’s productions have graced the likes of Seasons Recordings, Bonzai Music, DeepWit Recordings and Cosmic Elements and after finally clearing the archives of older projects, he spent winter 2015 working hard in the studio so ‘Substance EP’ is just the first of many more deep releases in the pipeline.
