Adaptation Music’s 144th release is a deep house three tracker from Tom Conrad and Matt Correa entitled ‘Movements EP’.
Opening the EP is the deep and heavily Detroit influenced ‘Expressions’ with infectious chord stabs, old school strings and strong vocals, with the track having an overall Kerri Chandler-esque feel. Next in line is ‘The Vibes’ with its lush melodies interlaced with hypnotic deep chords – it has serious old school deep house vibes written all over it! Last but not least is the deeper and rhythmic late night afro-latin vibes of ‘Andalusia’ to complete a fantastic well rounded EP from the duo.
Label owner Tom is having another busy year maintaining 4 aliases with forthcoming releases on Pogo House and several more on Adaptation Music and Cosmic Elements, having recently reached #11 top download on U.S site Traxsource. Guerrilla Records label owner Matt Correa continues to release on various labels as well as his own, following on from an extended period at Traxsource #1 in their Lounge/Chill Out top downloads.

The 141st release on Adaptation Music is from Tom Conrad under his Caliorange alias with a deep house and garage fusion three tracker entitled ‘Connections EP’.
Opening the EP is the brilliant ‘Haunting Me’ with its lush atmospheric chords, 90s garage bass line and classy chord stabs and keys, accompanied by an infectious vocal, which a lot of people may find apt regarding today’s society. Deep house and garage fusion at its finest. Next up is the Detroit style ‘Endless’ with a Kerri Chandler-esque groove that breaks into lush 90s piano stabs half way through before returning to the hypnotic deep tech groove. Last but not least is the dreamy and atmospheric ‘Think Of You’ with soft vocal, beautiful keys and strings that lead into some serious garage chord stabs at the midway point. If the old school deep house and garage sound is your thing, then don’t miss out on this EP!

Cosmic Elements’ 23rd release is the long awaited reworks of Tom Conrad & Andy Compton’s ‘Textures EP’ by none other than German legend Van Bellen.
Balearic chill and sunshine vibes are the order of the day on both of these remixes which showcase the beautiful guitar solos of Andy Compton. First up, Van Bellen’s sublime remix of ‘Okinawa’ is a lush chilled vibe which says sunset at Cafe Del Mar all over it, although it could easily work at any time of day where the sun and a beach are involved. Van Bellen then takes a nu disco versus ethereal chill approach to his remix of ‘Phoenix’, which once again screams Cafe Del Mar. Two masterpieces from a musical master right here.
For those that are unfamiliar, Van Bellen is a legendary German producer and remixer who hit the major heights in the late 90’s and early 00’s with support from Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and many more, featuring on numerous labels such as Sony, EMI, Bedrock and compilations such as Gatecrasher, Global Underground and numerous others, whilst growing up and working alongside the likes of Nalin & Kane, Blank & Jones, Marc Romboy and more.
